Although the weather was nice, today started out a little slow for me\u2026 I could just never get going and for some unknown reason seemed to be a little depressed or something. I sat down to watch some of the Sunday morning \u201cnews\u201d programs and read the news of the day and that didn\u2019t help my mood at all. I\u2019m sure I\u2019ll feel better by tomorrow, but today I couldn\u2019t help but think of something one of my favorite authors ( Dr. Seuss) wrote one time\u2026.<\/p>\n
My uncle ordered popovers
\nfrom the restaurant\u2019s bill of fare.
\nAnd when they were served,
\nhe regarded them
\nwith a penetrating stare\u2026<\/p>\n
Then he spoke great Words of Wisdom
\nas he sat there on that chair:
\n\u201cTo eat these things,\u201d
\nsaid my uncle,
\n\u201cyou must exercise great care.
\nYou may swallow down what\u2019s solid\u2026
\nBUT\u2026
\nYou must spit out the air!\u201d<\/p>\n
And\u2026
\nAs you partake of the world\u2019s bill of fare,
\nthat\u2019s darned good advice to follow.
\nDo a lot of spitting out the hot air,
\nAnd be careful what you swallow.<\/p>\n
Advice from Theodore Seuss Geisel is always good, but it seemed especially appropriate to me today\u2026
