Eleven years ago today, I lost one of, if not <em>the<\/em>, best friends I\u2019ve ever had. Some friends develop over time\u2026 my friendship with Al Chura was instantaneous. From the first time I met him to the last time I saw him, our relationship was always the same \u2014 we just seemed to connect. Over the years we did a lot of things together and sometimes we just did nothing together, but I always felt better having been with him.<\/p>\n<p>It turns out that all the best things in life are not things at all\u2026they\u2019re friends. And when someone like Al comes along, you\u2019re never quite the same\u2026 because you\u2019ve met the ultimate <em>good<\/em> friend.<br \/>\nMy Indian heritage believes that there is no death, only a change of worlds\u2026 I\u2019m sure that world is better because of Al\u2026.<br \/>\n\u2014 30 \u2014<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last entry in this blog discussed friends and good friends.
