I\u2019m really getting sick of the news. Every day it\u2019s the same story over and over. The president\/government is \u2014 or isn\u2019t \u2014 going to do something. One day, it\u2019s tariffs, the next it\u2019s funding, or firings, or whatever. I think I include myself in a good portion of the population that has lost trust in our \u201cleaders.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ve always believed that trust is an important asset for a leader to have. Of course that\u2019s a problem if you\u2019re a huge, unscrupulous weasel bent of abusing your position of power for personal gain. But if you\u2019re a leader that fits that description, there\u2019s a tool for you \u2014 it\u2019s called \u201clying.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Depending on your position of leadership, dealing with employees, or the public, they have few retaliatory options. And if lying doesn\u2019t work and you lose their trust, you can always use fear and intimidation to get the same results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ok \u2014 I don\u2019t feel any better, but at least I got that off my chest\u2026..
