Once again, please excuse this entry. It\u2019s just one more of my private therapy sessions with myself\u2026
During my recent searching for answers, I\u2019ve discovered that one of the basic spiritual principles in most philosophies is the idea of opening your heart to \u201cwhat is.\u201d You can\u2019t insist that life be a certain way. After doing a fair amount of reading, it appears that idea is very important because most internal struggles stem from the desire to control life \u2014 to insist that it be different than it actually is. Of course, life isn\u2019t always the way we want it to be \u2014 it\u2019s just simply the way it is. Apparently, when we are able to surrender to the truth, we may be able to find peace of mind.
I think this is a good philosophy \u2014 now if I can just talk myself into believing it\u2026..
