The dictionary defines matter as a physical substance in general, as distinct from mind and spirit; (in physics) that which occupies space and possesses rest mass, especially as distinct from energy. <br>Anyhow, the news article that brought this to mind indicated that scientists are on the verge of discovering an entirely new type of matter. They\u2019ve already come up with dense matter, dark matter and even found anti-matter, but I guess there\u2019s always more matter to be found.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But all this got me to thinking\u2026 all of us non-scientists would be hard pressed to get along without the word matter. As a matter of fact, it\u2019s the subject matter of this blog. No matter how you slice it, the fact that we use the word matter so much is no laughing matter.<br>We all have to deal with family matters and the way we do that sometimes only makes matters worse. While it\u2019s not a matter of life or death, it\u2019s only a matter of time that we must come to an agreement on how to handle waste matter.\u00a0<br>The crux of the matter is that no matter what, we use matter a lot.<br>Whether or not you like this blog is a matter of opinion \u2014 and if you don\u2019t, it doesn\u2019t matter.<br>\u2014 30 \u2014<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Scientist have discovered and know a lot about matter.
