It\u2019s a day set aside every year to to boost awareness for businesses \u2014 and individuals \u2014 of the importance of regular data backups. Yep, World Backup Day refers to data<\/em> backups. the goal is to use March 31st as the date each year to reach those who never backed up their data, and even people who might not even know about data backup. I admit I don\u2019t backup our computers as regularly as I should, but I do backup our \u201cimportant\u201d information regularly. Admittedly, backup for our house is pretty simple \u2014 we don\u2019t have a huge amount of data \u2014 a lot of \u201cstuff\u201d on our computers isn\u2019t something that would invite a ransomware attack.
