I know you\u2019ve all been waiting, and it\u2019s again that time of year when I report back to you on how I did with this year\u2019s New Year Resolutions. You\u2019re probably aware that in the past couple of years, I cut back on the number of resolutions I make. I\u2019ve shortened my yearly list and made each resolution more realistic, with a better chance of success. I plan to go with that plan again this year.\u00a0
But, as promised, here\u2019 s how I did with my resolutions for 2022\u2026.here\u2019s last year\u2019s list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Even though in the past, I\u2019ve resolved to be nicer to people, this year I resolve to be extra nice to people that do exactly what I want.
+ I did pretty good on this one. I think, in general, that I was nicer this year\u2026 but in fairness, some people that I could have been extra nice to, didn\u2019t do anywhere near what I wanted \u2014 something beyond my control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00b7 Although I don\u2019t read, or understand, \u201cTweets,\u201d and in the past I\u2019ve resolved (unsuccessfully) to do one, this year I resolve to write<\/em> one. \u00b7 Last year I resolved to become really good at procrastination \u2014 I think I\u2019ll be able to accomplish that this year \u2014 or maybe next year. \u00b7 I resolve to be more optimistic in 2022 \u2014 I will always look at my wine glass as half-full, not half empty. So all-in-all I\u2019d say I did pretty good with my resolutions for this year. Now during the next couple of weeks, I\u2019ll put together my list for 2023\u2026. seems like the older I get the harder it is to come up with resolutions that will make me an even better person. + Well, I\u2019m kind of proud to say that I still haven\u2019t \u201ctweeted,\u201d and in all honesty I didn\u2019t even write one this year. Seems like the whole year I kept hearing about the Elon Musk takeover of Twitter. And since it\u2019s happened, I won\u2019t be tweeting anytime soon \u2014 like ever. Musk buying Twitter was beyond my control and the reason I couldn\u2019t complete this resolution<\/p>\n\n\n\n
+ I think I did really good with this one, I have a pretty long list of things I didn\u2019t accomplish this year, so I pushed them into 2023. I guess I\u2019d have to give myself a \u201cjob well-done\u201d for this resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
+ Once again, I think I did good \u2014 my optimism has increased. We increased our deliveries of wine and I now see my glass as not only half-full, but refillable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
