I hadn\u2019t thought about it, and don\u2019t know if that\u2019s really true, but there <em>are<\/em> quite a few \u201cSeptember\u201d songs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I do remember a song called \u201cSeptember\u201d by Earth Wind &amp; Fire. That group was popular about the same time as Blood. Sweat &amp; Tears, and I liked both groups. Carole King was another of my favorites around that time and she had a song, \u201cIt Might as Well Rain Until September.\u201d I don\u2019t think it was one of her biggest hits, but I do remember it. We went to see Neal Diamond concerts and he always sang \u201cSeptember Morn.\u201d So I guess there is a number of \u201cSeptember\u201d songs\u2026. I\u2019ll have to do some extensive research sometime and come up with songs that mention other months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tony Bennet sang \u201cMaybe September\u2019 that became fairly popular and one of Nora Jones\u2019 songs was \u201cSeptember in the Rain.\u201d Some other September Songs are:\u00a0<br>\u201cSeptember Song,\u201d \u201cWake Me Up When September Ends,\u201d \u201cA Lonely September,\u201d \u201cThe 12th of September,\u201d \u201cThe September of My Years,\u201d \u201cSeptember Gurls,\u201d \u201cCome September,\u201d \u201cSee You in September,\u201d and \u201cSeptember Rain.\u201d<br>And I just thought of a Johnny Cash\/Rosanne Cash song called, \u201cSeptember When It Comes.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I think there are probably a lot of songs that don\u2019t have September in the title, but mention the month in the lyrics, like \u201cTry to Remember\u201d by The Brothers Four.
