I remember the day she was born \u2014 it was Mother\u2019s Day. This year\u2019s birthday missed being on Mother\u2019s Day by just one day. Kelly didn\u2019t waste any time being born. Sunday morning when we got to the hospital, they said they would get Claire settled in her room and call me in a few minutes \u2014 so I figured I\u2019d get a cup of coffee while I waited. The nurse told me to just take the elevator down to the basement and the cafeteria was right there. That\u2019s what I did\u2026 I got my coffee, got back on the elevator, went to the nurses station and asked what room Claire was in. The nurse said, \u201cOh, congratulations, Mr. Williamson, you\u2019re a father!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sure enough, I went into the room and there was Claire \u2014 and Kelly. Kelly had really, really long hair and she was wide awake. Little did I know that she\u2019d be awake most of her growing up years. But she was the prettiest, cutest baby I\u2019d ever seen\u2026 and she turned out to be an adult I couldn\u2019t be prouder of \u2014 Happy Birthday, Kelly!<br>\u2014 30 \u2014<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today is our baby girl\u2019s birthday.
