Today is one of those days that we all remember. Just about everyone can tell you exactly where they were and what they were doing 18 years ago this morning. In anyone\u2019s lifetime there are only a few events that are indelibly etched in their minds. For a lot of people, this will be one of them. Some of these events are really happy occasions \u2014 others, like today, are horrible.<\/p>\n
Hopefully, there won\u2019t be any more days like 9\/11\u2026 the phrase \u201cnever forget\u201d has become almost part of saying \u201c9\/11.\u201d I\u2019m pretty sure none of us that lived through it, will \u201cnever forget.\u201d<\/p>\n
But I think in some ways, \u201c9\/12\u201d is more important than \u201c9\/11.\u201d I remember that on 9\/12 there were no Whites, Blacks, Mormons, Baptists, Catholics, rich, poor, Democrats or Republicans. On 9\/12 there were only Americans. I remember after such a horrible 9\/11, that in a completely different way, 9\/12 turned out to be a pretty special day.<\/p>\n
We will never forge<\/em>t 9\/11, but let\u2019s not forget 9\/12\u2026. wouldn\u2019t it be great to have a lot more of those days? <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Today is one of those days that we all remember.
